Data Factory AS was founded in 2016, with operational activities starting in 2018. The company was established with a clear ambition: to support the ongoing digitalization affecting society, businesses, and individuals by making quality-assured and enriched data easily accessible and simple to use.

Digitalization is about renewing, simplifying, and improving services through technology. It creates opportunities for innovation, increased value creation, and higher productivity in both the public and private sectors. However, succeeding in digitalization requires more than just access to data - the data must also be accurate, complete, accessible, and understandable.

Data Factory was established to be an active partner, driver, and catalyst in the digitalization process. With our expertise in data, data processing, and data-driven insight, we aim - through our platform, products, and employees - to contribute significantly to the success of digitalization projects.

Data Factory is partly owned by Posten Norge through the Y3 Group and partly by the company´s own employees. Today, we consist of 21 dedicated and skilled team members.

We have a strong focus on internal control and data security. All our relevant procedures are reviewed and approved by PWC in accordance with the ISAE 3000 standard, and are audited annually to ensure compliance. In addition, we use Mnemonic for testing, monitoring, and training in data security, and we continuously work to strengthen our internal security practices.
